Further training for nursing service management

The ISNB offers specialized training courses for nursing staff and institutions that are also open to international participants.
These courses, including further training as a care manager and practice supervisor as well as refresher courses, are flexible, available both in person and online, and are adapted to the needs and availability of the participants.

Overview

Nursing training in Germany combines various areas of nursing into a comprehensive programme in order to modernize and improve the profession.
As a “Pflegefachfrau” or “Pflegefachmann”, graduates are qualified for all areas of nursing care in a three-year practical training program.
A generalist approach enables them to work in geriatric, pediatric and general nursing care.

Candidates should have empathy, resilience and enjoy working with people.
The training is free of charge, thanks to the support of the federal states and employers, and is recognized throughout Europe.
The training concludes with an exam, after which you can work in all areas of care.
